Top Geolocation Games on Android in Costa Rica: Q3 2025

In the third quarter of 2025, several geolocation-based games on the Android platform showed varied performance in Costa Rica. Here's a closer look at the top five applications based on Sensor Tower data.

Pokémon GO saw a steady decline in weekly revenue from early July, starting at approximately $5.1K and ending the quarter at around $1.8K. Weekly downloads mirrored this downward trend, beginning at 3.5K and dropping to just under 1K by the end of September. Active users decreased from 11.3K to 7.1K throughout the quarter.

Tamadog - Puppy Pet Dog Games experienced a significant increase in weekly downloads, peaking at 1.4K in late August. Revenue also rose, starting at $100 and reaching $260 in early September. Active users showed a mild upward trend, ending the quarter at 695.

Jurassic World Alive maintained consistent weekly downloads, with a notable spike to 742 in the final week. Revenue remained relatively stable, averaging around $100 to $160 weekly. The number of active users increased towards the end of the quarter, reaching 1.4K.

Monster Hunter Now had fluctuating weekly revenue, peaking at $77 in mid-September. Downloads were sporadic, with a high of 190 in early August. Active users decreased from 5.1K to 3.5K by the end of the quarter.

Ingress Prime showed minimal activity with occasional revenue and downloads, and a small number of active users.
